Fathers Day

Hoping that those who were given the privilege to become a father have a wonderful day with the family today!!!. For those who are distant from their families is not too late to come into new terms with your kids if anger has come in your way. The best thing we can do is to forgive our mistakes and to move forward and reestablishing new friendships and relationships with our love ones. Life is too short to continue to be angry at people, or to be unforgiving. Kids are the gift of life, why waste the opportunity to be great. And being a great father doesn't necessarily mean providing material stuff but rather strong emotional support. I don't consider myself a perfect dad, I know I made a lot of mistakes, but am always searching for new ways to reconstruct what I damaged. Keeping in mine that I might continue to make mistakes.

Today I received the most beautiful hand made Happy Father's Day card from my family. My son Alex, who is the most creative kid I ever known, was the author of the card. As you can see, Imagination is the key to creation of emotional gifts one can give and receive. He didn't ask dad for money to buy his card but rather came to the office borrow a piece of white paper and use his foamies sticky shapes to create the most beautiful card ever. Inspire and encourage your kids and your family every day to create the most wonderful things.Be yourself, be authentic, and enjoy the journey of life. Teach them how to become the most they can be even with your limited resources available.

Wish you the best day Ever!!!

Sincerely,

  1. Very emotional post. Yesterday we had a wonderful Father's day in Ensenada at my family's place. Barbecue and "Ceviche" made that moment a little bit more delicious mmm... the main idea there was to make my father to feel our gratefulness for everything he has done for us, and remember all together how wonderful is to have a family!

One important thing is that not all moments in a family are good, not all things make us happy, but as a family is necessary to identify the good things we can learn even then. So we need to filter out, all the bad words, all the bad feelings and all the bad thoughts, yes! we need to "filter" if we want to get through the test, and have a family full of love and unity.

    Cheers and best wishes!
